We are convinced that NeuroAiD™ has played a part in her recovery. The physical therapists that are following her are all amazed at how fast she is recovering.

Marc Marandon (France)

My wife had a stroke on the morning of October 18th 2010. I discussed about NeuroAiD™ with my neurologist and the doctor following my wife in her rehabilitation centre. They weren’t opposed to the treatment but asked that I take full responsibility for it. We started NeuroAiD™ treatment on December 1st 2010.

AFTER ONE WEEK

She can move her right leg a bit. She can get up from her wheelchair. She has difficulties standing up but is able to keep her balance on 2 feet. Her right arm is motionless. Her speech is very slowly making progress (my wife has aphasia).

AFTER ONE MONTH

My wife is starting to walk with a tripod. Her right arm has slightly improved: her scapula has some mobility. She is also able to say a few words now. She understands everything (her thinking was not affected by the stroke). It’s hard to tell the difference between NeuroAiD™, rehabilitation therapy and my wife’s condition before the stroke.

AFTER TWO MONTHS

Her right leg has improved a lot. She can almost walk without a cane but needs a foot orthosis. She is starting to move her shoulder; she can bend her elbow and is able to push away an object on a table. She is able to let go of an object she has in her hand (though it is still difficult). Her speech is making progress.

Her doctor, physical and speech therapists are all surprised at how fast she is improving! We can’t tell, however, what role NeuroAiD™ is playing, along with therapy and my wife’s natural recovery.

AFTER THREE MONTHS

She walks without a cane and can go up the stairs, but still needs a foot orthosis. She can bend her knee. Her ankle and her toes can’t move but are flexible. She can move and lift her elbow, as well as he shoulder. She can move her wrist back and forth. She can barely move her fingers but they are also getting flexible. When she lies down she can keep her arm in the air, as long as her elbow is held by something. Her speech is slow but she is making progress every day. She can now say small sentences: “I want to eat”, “I bough cookies”. She can go for groceries on her own and is able to type in her credit card number by herself.

AFTER FOUR MONTHS

Her mobility and her speech are still improving. She can now bend her leg well and is even able to do squats. She can bend her elbow and lift her arm up to her nose. When lying down, she is now able to keep her arm extended without any support. She can move her fingers a bit. As for speech, she is finding more and more verbs.

We will stop NeuroAiD™ treatment after 4 months of treatment. We are convinced that NeuroAiD™ has played a part in her recovery. The physical therapists that are following her are all amazed at how fast she is recovering.
